Refund policy

Last updated: 28 July 2026

This policy applies to paid application analytics engagements with securednode, including product telemetry reviews, activation path analysis, metric language workshops, cohort retention studies, analytics pairing hours, and tracking blueprint sessions. It does not apply to software products, physical goods, or marketplace checkout—none of which are sold on this site.

Eligibility

Refunds are considered when work has not substantially started, when we cancel an engagement we cannot staff, or when a written scope is not delivered due to our failure. “Substantially started” means we have begun data access review, workshop facilitation, or analysis beyond the discovery call.

Timeframe to request

Request a refund in writing within fourteen (14) days of the invoice date or within seven (7) days of a missed deliverable date stated in the scope—whichever applies. Later requests are reviewed case by case.

Full refunds

Partial refunds

If work has started but a remaining unused portion of a fixed-fee engagement is cancelled by mutual agreement, we may refund the unused portion after deducting completed milestones at the rates implied by the scope. For monthly pairing hours, unused hours in the current month are not carried forward unless noted in writing; a partial refund may apply only if we failed to make contracted hours available.

Non-refundable items

Deposits

Some engagements require a deposit to reserve dates. Deposits are applied to the final invoice. If you cancel more than ten business days before kickoff, the deposit is refundable minus a scheduling fee of up to KRW 150,000. Inside ten business days, deposits are generally non-refundable unless we fill the slot with another client of equal value.

Cancellation and rescheduling

You may reschedule a workshop or on-site day once at no charge with at least five business days’ notice. Later reschedules may incur a fee reflecting facilitator time already blocked. Repeated no-shows for pairing hours count as hours used for that month.

Work already started

Once analysis or facilitation is underway, fees for completed work remain due. Materials prepared for your engagement (draft tracking blueprints, interim notes) remain our property until invoices are settled; after payment, deliverables transfer as described in your scope.

Purchased materials

We do not sell packaged digital products or physical kits. Template excerpts included in deliverables are covered by the engagement agreement, not by a separate product refund path.

Refund method and processing time

Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method within ten to fifteen business days after written approval. Bank processing times may add several days depending on your institution.

How to request

Email hello@securednode.digital with your invoice reference, engagement name, and reason. You may also call +93-6-656-6793 or write to 139-9, Jungheungmaeur geurin 3 chabuyeongapateu 301-305, Yongam 1(il)-dong, Sangdang-gu Cheongju-si, Chungcheongbuk-do, Korea. We confirm receipt within two business days and state the outcome in writing.

Exceptions

Mandatory consumer protections under Korean law take precedence where they apply. Engagement-specific terms in a signed scope override this page only when they expressly state a different refund rule for that project.
